Syzygium
jambos (L.) Alston is a tropical fruit tree of the rose apple family. It is a
tall tree, reaching heights of over 33 feet, and has symmetrical leaves; thin
needles up to 20 cm in length with a leathery quality and a dark green luster.
The rose apple family consists of several tropical fruits, including the guava.
The fruit of the tree has a color from milky yellow to peachy cream and a fragrance
